OPROEP
Meedoen en/of bijdragen aan de acties en strijden voor de opheffing van de blokkade van Lachin Corridor? Als je op 17, 18, 19 januari, tussen 9.30 en 18.00 uur tenminste een aantal uren wil deelnemen aan de Stille Wacht, stuur een e-mail naar info@faon.nl. Je krijgt dan alle info over deze actie.

BLOKKADE LACHIN CORRIDOR
Sinds het begin van de blokkade van Lachin-corridor door Azerbeidzjan, 12 december 2022, vraagt FAON aandacht van politiek en pers voor de Azerbeidzjaanse blokkade van de Lachin corridor met zijn grote en gevaarlijke consequenties.

Hoewel de Tweede Kamer hierover een motie heeft aangenomen, de NOS in het journaal aandacht heeft besteed en de regering op allerlei plaatsen actie heeft ondernomen, is de aandacht nog altijd onvoldoende, net als in andere landen. De FAON blijft, samen met jullie, aandacht vragen, en druk uitoefenen, met persberichten en contacten, maar ook langs andere wegen.

Zodra de Tweede Kamer terug is van reces, op 17 januari, heeft ook demonstreren weer politiek betekenis. Dan zullen we met een Stille Wacht permanent aanwezig zijn voor de ingang van het Tweede Kamergebouw. Ook zullen de leden van de Commissie Buitenlandse Zaken bijgepraat en wordt een brief overhandigd op 17 januari. Overigens hopen we natuurlijk dat de corridor dan weer vrij is, maar zo niet, dan is de situatie nijpender en actie dringend nodig. Steun de actie!

BLOCKADE OF LACHIN CORRIDOR
Since the start of the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan, December 12, 2022, FAON has drawn the attention of Dutch politicians and the press to the Azerbaijani blockade of the Lachin corridor with its major and dangerous consequences.

Although the Dutch Parliament adopted a motion on this matter, the NOS news has paid attention in a news item and the Dutch government has paid attention to this matter, the attention is still insufficient, just like in other countries. The FAON continues to draw attention of Dutch instances and media, exert pressure with press releases and direct contacts and also in other ways.

As soon as the Dutch Parliament returns from holidays, on January 17, protest rally will again have political significance. Then we plan Silent Protest during three days in front of the entrance to the Parliament. The members of the Foreign Affairs Committee will also be updated and a letter will be handed over to the Committee on January 17th. We naturally hope that the Lachin Corridor will be free again by then, but if not, the situation is more dire and action is urgently needed. Support this Protest Rally!
